Strike actions and civil disobedience have taken place across the country today in the next escalation of the Fight For $15/hr and the right to form a union without retribution. From September 4th, 2014, until September 7th, 2014, Urban Shield reappears in Oakland, CA. It’s four days of glorifying militarized police and their deadly toys. Kayvan Sabeghi’s Lawsuit Against the Alameda County Sheriff’s Department Ready to Proceed.

At the beginning of June some Occupy San Francisco peeps took up stations outside of a Staples in San Francisco, protesting Post Office privatization and union-busting, and stayed there, 24-7, for nine days, garnering national attention. Last Albany Bulb Residents Evicted at Gunpoint, Arrested.

According to Osha Newman, a lawyer and long-time activist who has worked with Albany Bulb residents in their now-lost attempts to stay in their homes, the last two residents of the Bulb were evicted on Friday, May 30th at gunpoint.
