Hi everyone. It has been a busy summer for all, and although there are less demonstrations during this time we still actively working on feeding the public and distributing food. We still accept food donations and volunteers for cooking and serving. Land reclaimed for community cultivation, lets do kitchen!

Occupy the farms reclaimed prime CAL land on Marin Ave and San Pablo ave yesterday at 3pm. We have thousands of starts in the ground already and the kitchen space is set up. Come and garden or help in the kitchen. We are not cooking there yet be would love food to be brought so we can continue to feed the farmers. First BBQ Community Event: Sign Up to Bring a Dish – Arroyo Park, Oakland – Saturday, March 17, 2012 – Noon to 5:00 PM

Occupy Oakland is planning our first BBQ and Speak Out event for Saturday, March 17, 2012. It will be in East Oakland at Arroyo Park, near 77th and Bancroft, from noon to 5:00 PM. Hello Fellow Occupiers and Supporters, As some of you know, I have been bringing home-cooked food to Occupy Oakland since the OccupyOakland MoveIn Day on Jan 20th. On that day I brought food to serve 160 people, of which I myself prepared a greens, squash and bean stew and a pork, squash and bean stew.
