Join Reverend Billy (political street theater) in Berkeley this Saturday!

  The world-renowned Reverend Billy of the Church of Stop Shopping will be in Berkeley this Saturday!  As part of his Fear of Banking tour, he will be performing an exorcism on a large, big, bad bank and invites Occupy Oakland to join him. Come to the Caffe Mediterraneum on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley this Saturday, 2/18, at noon. We will gather and then walk to a large bank, where Rev. Hi community, hers an update on what the cooks are talking about and some upcoming occupy oakland events that would love food support. Stop using my city as your ideological playground

I understand that it takes 90% to pass a resolution at GA.  The most annoying part of this is that there is NO resolution that I have heard of that approves the violence (aka diversity of tactics). So, what we need to do is get those of us who want the violence to stop to show up at a GA and pass the resolution that the violent faction has been blocking.  Maybe we should pick a day to try and get the people out to one of these GA meetings. … Continued
