3,3,13 HAYWARD — Police were investigating an officer involved shooting Sunday morning, the third time Bay Area police opened fire on suspects this weekend. The shooting happened around 3:20 a.m. near the intersection Fletcher Lane and Watkins Street, said Hayward police. It wasn’t immediately clear if the suspect was dead. OAKLAND, Calif. — A six-year-old San Ramon boy was reunited in Oakland Friday with a small group of blood donors who helped keep the boy alive for six years. The Garland Police Department confirmed that it fired Officer Patrick Tuter after an internal investigation into the Aug. 12, 2012, shooting.
