Land reclaimed for cultivation!

Occupy the farm reclaims Cal Berkeley land, (planned to be sold to Whole Foods) as of yesterday at 3pm. We have been planting thousands of starts, setting up a kitchen, craft area, kid area, info booth and much more. Please come and share your skills and ideas, and help out. Ran into “The Quan” at lakeside MLK day

Just wanted to let everyone know the lakeside day was fun. Lots of weeding and working with the dirt. Thanks to all who were able to come out! We wore occupy oakland patches and got a lot of people asking questions. Occupy Oakland Day of Health

Occupy Oakland wants to invite the community for a Day of Health every Sunday starting this Sunday the 15th, noon-5pm in OG Plaza. Hi everyone,     Things have been very busy….Im assuming everyone has been feeling the end of the year rush. Happy holidays! Garden Workday this Monday

Hi everyone, we will be meeting up this coming Monday the 5th from noon-4pm to help two garden friends with their plot on the corner of 37th and West, Oakland. We are linking up with community gardens and they are excited to receive support from us.  We will mainly be filling in the planter beds with starts, basic upkeep, elaborating on the edges near the fence line, possibly planning a green house and bee hive for the space, enjoying company, and snacking.
