This talk will discuss lessons from a grassroots working-class climate organizing effort, and how patriarchy and racism intersect with capitalism to perpetuate the climate crisis. Lara and Paul Messersmith-Glavin, the presenters, are members of the Institute for Anarchist Studies collective, editors of the IAS’s annual and on-line journal Perspectives on Anarchist Theory and organizers with the Hella 503 Collective in Portland, Oregon.
