Justice for Kayla: Art Build

On October 23, Kayla Moore’s family will go to court to hold Berkeley and the BPD accountable for Kayla’s death in 2013. There is a pre-trial conference on October 17, and the trial lasts through the week of October 23.

Want to lend a hand in advance of this important fight? Come to our art-making party on Saturday, September 2 to create art that honors Kayla’s memory.

We’ll be making posters and other outreach materials. There will be a variety of ways to lend a hand; no need to have so-called creative talent. We’ll also have food to share.
