“I Cannot Afford to Lose this Race to an Anarchist Dog.”
So said Jean Quan, or someone sounding remarkably like the soon-to-be not Mayor of Oakland, on Twit Wit radio. Broadcast days before the election, Twit Wit brought on Einstein and the voices of Jean Quan, Ned Bates and Gayle McLaughlin, all candidates for Mayor of something, ultimately endorsing Einstein.
Quan’s statement is at about 8:50 in the 30 minute clip, after the panel has clarified with Einstein that he is not a Socialist, but rather a Responsible Anarchist. Another highlight begins at 18:45 with a fractured Christmas Carol which contains the lyric “A good dog makes a good mayor.” Check it all out.
Note: While Jean Quan officially lost to Libby Schaaf on November 4th, 2014, there is little doubt her re-election was lost on October 25th, 2011 when Einstein, along with many of Quan’s fellow human beings, were attacked with tear gas and bean bag rounds by thugs she ordered into the streets. I am confident that Einstein, despite his resulting PTSD, is proud to have played a part, however small, in the downfall of a person who would do that to any member of Canis canis or Homo sapiens.

Are you going to endorse me or that damned dog?
