Proposal: Hold a General Assembly at the downtown Oakland Police Station
Whereas we have been repeatedly accused of wasting tax dollars by making police come to us
Whereas snitches continue going to the police to report on our actions
Whereas we have set a precedent of holding GA in radical new locations with populations not usually reached by the GA
Be it proposed that we march on the downtown Oakland police station, occupy it, and hold our GA there. The action will be held on Friday, December 9 at 6PM (the regular General Assembly time).

Why you people insist on making enemies with the police is a mystery to the Rebel Slave Princess. This proposal is pure theatre and achieves nothing. It gets attention, yes, but that attention is merely desperate notoriety.
Recruiting local government and local law enforcement should be a higher priority than staging another circus. Proposals such as these are a quest for self importance. The tragic assumption here is that the OPD actually cares what you’re up tp, or that there are indeed snitches.
Puh-leez.
Occupy Oakland is busily and so vainly lost in self-promotion that infiltration and informants are unnecessary. Fair enough, then move the GA around, it’s not a bad idea. But why make even more enemies? It runs counter to the self-promotion you otherwise attempt. You get your name in the paper, but accomplish nothing else.
Perhaps holding the GA in shopping malls for the remainder of the Holiday Season would be better. The courtyards in certain hospitals would work well (if you behaved well and could work well w/o and w/o sounding silly), as would movie theatre parking lots (Friday evening & Sunday afternoon). Then again, 19th & Telegraph is a swell place to hold GA, in the park by the statues.
What you really need is a strategy, not more tactics.
