International Day of Action Against Smart Meters – October 4, 2012

Categories: Announcements, Open Mic

Digital Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) devices, or so-called ‘Smart’ meters, have caused fires, injured health, displaced people from homes, raised bills, violated privacy, removed experts who recognize gas leaks like the one that blew up San Bruno from our neighborhoods when meter readers were eliminated, and damaged plants and chased away bees. No energy savings as claimed by energy companies have materialized since such meters wereinstalled. For more info see http://smartmeters.org
