City Video Camera On 555 19th Street – Watch Out! – Photos

Everyone be aware that there is a video camera installed on the corner of 555 19th and Rashida Muhammad Street. If the address doesn’t sound familiar to you, this location is the corner were we have our General Assembly on Sundays, and it is the same corner where the Police came in about four cars to pickup/snatch an unknown person on May 25th 2012. -I wonder if the City or Police have a video recording from that night, so we could see who the person was; a protester or undercover cop. … Continued

Bank of America locks door because protesters rally – Albany, CA 5/21/12 – Photos

On May 21st a group of over 5o peaceful protesters rally in front of a Bank Of America brunch located on Solano Avenue and Nielson Street, in Albany, California. It didn’t take long after the Occupiers came to the location for the bank quickly closed their doors. Soon after, someone administrator/manager sent a security guard to the sidewalk to tell us to stop taking photos. Of course, we ignore his request.   On Sunday May 20, 2012 during the Occupy Oakland General Assembly, Karla (name maybe misspelled) mother of a eight years old, Phenix  pleaded for help so that the State of Nevada releases her son and let him return to California. Support the Winnemem Wintu Tribe this May 24 – 27, 2012

On May 20th during the Occupy Oakland General Assembly a representative of the Winnemem Wintu tribe requested support for their War Dance. The War Dance will take place on May 24-27, which they hope will convince the Forest Service to close the river for their Coming of Age ceremony.
