Celebrate our Heros

Categories: Open Mic

Throughout history there have been heroes, I just watched one of my favorite movies “Cinderella Man” that is the story about James Braddick, a guy from New Jersey that became ‘hope’ for the poor people during the depression.  Then another true story “Newies” that shows young kids as the heroes in New York in 1890’s, that started a union and eventually lead to the Child Labor Laws.

I get inspired when I watch these stories, true stories of everyday heroes would be, to me, more inspiring than the “V for Vendetta” movie that was viewed at the theater.  Since the OO movement has the support of the theater, maybe they could do weekly or monthly fund raisers and show an inspiring story of everyday heroes throughout history, to help to keep the people inspired.  We can make a difference!

Sincerely,
