Is there anything such as Middle Ground for all Occupiers, Unions and the General Public?
This post is so that we, as fellow occupiers, can find the middle ground we need to move this process forward. Each of us have goals and visions that we want to see come to fruition. Each of us have our life experiences to draw upon and each of us feel slighted when another disregards our vision because it is akin to disregarding our life experiences.
To facilitate a constructive dialog we have to find common ground, our middle ground. This is not so difficult for us to do if we realize we are walking a shared path to destinations that may or may not be different.
Consider that those that want to have better employment opportunities and on the same path as those that want better housing, better education, better healthcare. This all begins with the removal of all outside influences to our political system; without the removal of this outside influence we will never achieve any of these goals.
I offer that we choose shorter term goals, intermediate goals so that we may, in the end, achieve our greater goals. Without the intermediate goal of removing the influence of all but the individual “Natural Person(s)” we will never achieve better education, healthy and pesticide free food, safe and clean air and water, better employment opportunity or any other long term goal for either us or for our children when it becomes their turn to venture into the world.
Short term, or intermediate goals:
