Marches, Demonstration, Protests or Strike and Picket line?

Categories: Discussion, Reflections

Marches, Demonstration, Protests or Strike and Picket line?  This is an important question for strategic reasons.  Consider that Unions do not need to get a permit to either strike or picket.  If this was slightly restructured and we termed this a strike, picket lines and collective bargaining then the general public would understand and stand behind this eventually.

Unions eventually would stand behind this or risk losing their rights to strike, picket and to collective bargaining.  Eventually, the Unions would also honor the picket line.

If we said we were all members of the Occupy Movement, Local Oakland California Chapter and each occupy group did this, our voice would be one, and we would have the rights of any organization without having to organize according to any law.

Who exactly is any court, cop or legislator to say who is an organization and who is not.  Print cards and be a card carrying Occupy Wall Street Member.
