Come join us this Sunday to cultivate the commons in North Oakland’s Dover St Park. We will have free coffee, light baked goods, and fruit. Meet a neighbor, get your hands dirty, and participate in community based food production with Phat Beets Produce and the Dover St Neighborhood Group

What: Community Breakfast, Workday and Cover Crop Party at the Dover St Park
When: Sunday, Dec 4th 10-2pm
Where: Dover St Park at 57th and Dover, North Oakland
Why: Phat Beets Produce and the Dover St Neighborhood group have been working with neighbors and patients form the Healthy Hearts Clinic to install a vegetable garden, community orchard, and edible landscape on the perimeter of a North Oakland Park (Dover St Park). We are going to be preparing barren land for cover cropping to build the soil and crowd out invasive weeds in community permitted areas.
