Decolonize means much to many, but not good for the movement

While generally speaking people of color including indigenous people are more oppressed, as the movement has pointed out, people much higher on the socio- economic scale are also losing homes, jobs, money set aside for retirement.  Students are being burdened with huge loans even when not entering a business or getting a job that will allow them to pay these loans.  The majority of these people have been born Americans and do not consider themselves colonizers or colonized.  The hope of change in America is in a majority of Americans demanding it.

I am sorry the de-colonize people were disappointed in not passing the name change at Sunday's GA,   I voted against it because I suggest the effectiveness of the movement will depend upon further widespread participation by more than the most oppressed people.
