Dear Protesters: UNDERSTAND THE BUSINESSES you decide to target. My employers’ Burger King store on Broadway in Oakland was forced to close b/c the employees, who previously unanimously voted to stay open, were scared. Protesters came in to the store, stood on tables demanding closure, vandalized, and threatened our District Mgr that if he didn’t close then they would stand outside for days and prevent customers from entering! It’s really too bad that some protesters felt it was necessary to vandalize Whole Foods. I totally support the occupy movement, and have marched in San Francisco. But I support the movement as a peaceful one. By  protesters doing  these kinds of actions, people that would be sympathetic to the movement, will turn away from it. The media will portray it in a negative light and focus on this kind of behavior instead of the real message.Hopefully a strong yet peaceful protest will prevail. 3292

To all of you in Oakland, Keep up the great job you are doing. Add to your efforts to BOYCOTT BLACK FRIDAY, no one buys from national retailers over the Thanksgiving weekend, this doesn’t include food or medicine.
