Greetings from Occupy Cafe, an “open space” for the global conversaton being ignited by the #Occupy movement. We are very excited to be featuring Joshua Gorman of Occupy Oakland as one of our guest “conversation starters” for this Monday’s Cafe Call at 11am Eastern. Please join us! What is Occupy Cafe?
Occupy Cafe supports conversations among people who care about what #Occupy might mean for the world. It is therefore a space for people active on the ground to connect directly with others who are similarly engaged, and with those who wish to offer tangible support to the movement.

Additionally, those of us who are not directly involved but are captivated by these events (whether we sympathize or not) can connect with each other and with members of the movement who wish to engage more broadly with the general public. It’s an opportunity to share our thoughts and seek ways to catalyze positive action.

Occupy Cafe combines a regular series of innovative and highly interactive phone calls with an online platform for continuing and deepening the conversation. It’s a powerful new way to engage in dialogue about what really matters.

Or just use the links below to register now for our calls for the next two Mondays from 11am-2pm Eastern/8am-11am Pacific. Join for the whole thing or just drop in for a portion. Each call is divided into two “rounds” of ninety minutes each, so it’s best to come at the start or the ninety minute mark if you can (i.e. 11am or 12:30pm Eastern).
