Counter tactics during marches – Seems the main counter tactic could be disbursal. Stretch their forces apart as much as possible. But then your people don’t want to be left alone and vulnerable either.
Yes, these need to be practiced – training is required.
a) Keep the people known to the police either
1) disbursed
2) disguised
3) away from the action completely
4) separate from the action until needed
b) Develop marching formations
1) form into cohesive units of 6 to 12
2) approach as individuals to the target
3) form into a larger disbursed group or groups – take up more space – don’t get crowded together
4) have prearranged but disbursed groups along the march path which will form up and join the main group, while at the same time parts of the main group can splinter off to distract and confuse the police, but confusion on their part may be risky to you.
5) Use formations which stretch the police out.
6) Have rear groups disburse to the sides, and then regroup after the police pass.
7) Have advance and rear guards separate from the main march – they might be highly disbursed along the march path and can act as helpers if needed.
8 ) have vehicles ready to block or delay police at your back
