Protest SF’s New High Tech Surveillance Cameras – December 15th The US PROstitutes Collective has called for a protest at 2pm Pacific, December 15th at the corner of Shotwell and 21st St (in the Mission) to protest SFPD’s newly installed surveillance cameras. These cameras are completely unregulated and their use amounts to warrantless unconstitutional data collection. The CPUC is voting Thursday on a plan that might keep the dirty Aliso Canyon gas storage facility indefinitely open. Please join us at the CPUC hearing for a rally and to make public comment demanding they delay the proceeding until March rather than approve the process that would keep Aliso Canyon open.   Residents of Aliso have been dealing with the serious public health repercussions of the blowout and fighting to shut it down since 2015.  They need our support!
