Speaker: Raj Sahai General elections were held in India from 19 April to 1 June 2024 in seven phases, to elect 543 members of the Lok Sabha, the lower house of India’s bicameral Parliament. The results, announced on 4 June 2024, gave incumbent Prime Minister Narendrea Modi, a third consecutive term. Our speaker, Raj Sahai, is a native of India who has lived in the US for over 50 years and is an American citizen. He is a member of the ICSS Planning Committee.
