On February 26th, as a result of years of community organizing, the Board of Supervisors accepted 60 out of 63 community-supported recommendations for changes to emergency preparedness trainings under the Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI) funding. On Tuesday March 12th, Supervisors have the opportunity to take the next steps in making a community-led vision for safety and disaster response a reality.
