The North American Anarchist Studies Network is holding its sixth annual conference on March 20, 21, and 22 at the California Institute for Integral Studies, in San Francisco, California—the homeland of the Ohlone people. BART police and SF Sheriffs retaliated against these two brave individuals while they were in custody. On Tuesday, March 24th the Alameda County Board of Supervisors will finally vote on the county’s public safety realignment budget. For the past six months, the Ella Baker Center has been campaigning for the supervisors to set aside more funding for community-based re-entry programs and services—instead of giving most of the money to the sheriff.
