Safer Spaces is a Decolonize/Occupy Oakland committee that works to address issues of trauma & oppression within the movement towards the goals of increased participant sustainability, and collective liberation. We work for the movement by offering direct support services, advocacy, and accountability processes on interpersonal, collective, and systemic levels.
