Meets Monday Wednesday, Friday and Sundays at 6.
Events Committee is responsible for the actions, workshops, shows, teach-ins, etc. Meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:00 pm at Brown Couch Cafe at 14th above Webster.
Finance is coordinating all official Occupy Oakland financial donations. Meetings every Thursdays at 6pm at SF Pizza on 15th and Broadway. New members welcome — please join us.

In honor and remembrance of those who have lost their lives to HIV/AIDS, we are holding a candlelight vigil on Thursday Dec 1, 2011 at Oscar Grant Plaza. In honor of those still suffering with HIV/AIDS we hold a candlelight vigil and open (people’s) mic and ask that the governments and people of this world recognize the need for Universal Healthcare as one of our basic rights. We encourage people to come share their experience of how this virus has affected you or the people you are close to. We encourage a safe space, a comfortable space, and a compassionate space for people to talk amongst each other and possibly through the human mic if you so choose. Please reach out to your neighbors, support systems, and organizations that may be interested in participating.

Meeting to set the agenda for Sunday’s General Assembly
A workshop of simple practices for stress relief, trauma healing, and wellness that anyone can learn. It is based on Capacitar(Capacitar International) work and also on other trauma healing work. Please come out!
Meeting for reps. from committees, caucuses and working groups from Occupy Oakland.
This meeting is a place for all the work groups, committees, and caucuses of Occupy Oakland to meet up, update each other on events, procedures, concerns etc. It is designed so that there is more transparency and solitary, and between the work groups. Please send two reps with an update from your work group.
Meeting at 4pm in front of city hall.

This is a meeting for people who self-identify as people of color/ queer people of color. We meet with the goal of strengthening our participation in the Occupy movement here in Oakland and beyond, and to likewise strengthen the Occupy movement by situating it in the context of our local, living communities and the ongoing work being done by those communities.

Hi everyone, we will be meeting up this coming monday the 5th from noon-4pm to help two garden friends with their plot on the corner of 37th and West, Oakland. We are linking up with community gardens and they are excited to receive support from us. We will mainly be filling in the planter beds with starts, basic upkeep, elaborating on the edges near the fence line, possibly planning a green house and bee hive for the space, enjoying company, and snacking. bring food or drinks if you’d like. We are hoping to get some bricks together to use as retainer walls. so if you have that resource shoot us a line before monday. see you then, with love
