San Franciscans are saying LOUD AND CLEAR that we stand for and with a #FREEPALESTINE. It’s time for DA Jenkins to end her frivolous prosecution of the #BayBridge78 NOW. In December, the #BayBridge78 appeared in court to face the 390 criminal charges that DA Jenkins is pursuing against them for protesting genocide. Nearly a month later, these bizarre and indefensible charges for civil disobedience have STILL not been dropped! The genocide in Gaza continues while DA Jenkins squanders our public funds on right wing political posturing.
Can you amplify the call to drop the charges and demand a ceasefire now?

On January 26, 2024, the federal court will hear a lawsuit filed by Palestinian plaintiffs charging President Biden, Secretary of State Blinken, and Secretary of Defense Austin with complicity in Israel’s genocide. The lawsuit seeks an emergency federal court order to halt U.S. support for these actions. The court holds the authority to compel the U.S. to cease its support, making this an urgent and pivotal case for the millions affected by genocide.

Join actions all over the country targeting banks that fund the Mountain Valley Pipeline. We have one of the top funders right here in the Bay Area: Wells Fargo, headquartered in San Francisco, has poured $86.7 million into this destructive project.
For starters, the pipeline is planned to carry fracked gas across Appalachia, from extraction fields of northern West Virginia, blasting through the Blue Ridge mountains and Virginia before reaching its end in North Carolina.
Construction on the MVP mainline has already severely harmed clean water sources across Appalachia. Its route over steep slopes increases the risk of water damage and explosions.
And the climate impact: It’s been estimated that the full life cycle greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (excluding construction emissions) generated by the MVP mainline alone would be almost 90 million metric tons annually. This is equivalent to the emissions from 23 average U.S. coal plants or over 19 million passenger vehicles driven every year
See 5 Key Reasons to Stop the Mountain Valley Pipeline, by the Natural Resources Defense Council
Join the fight against this environmental justice and climate catastrophe.
For the past three months, the Israeli Occupation Forces have indiscriminately bombed and killed over 30,000 Palestinians living in Gaza, half of them children. This is a genocide and an attempted land-grab.
Israel’s apartheid regime depends on Chevron’s gas reserves, which provide 70% of Israel’s electricity and powers the ongoing massacres of Palestinians. Both Israel and Chevron are profiting from this genocide: Chevron operates two of the largest offshore natural gas fields off of the coast of Palestine.
The extraction of these resources, enabled by the apartheid regime and settler colonialism, is part of the 75 year history of occupation. It is clear that natural gas is a part of this violent colonial tradition.
Now, Bay Area residents and environmental justice organizers are taking action here at home in Contra Costa to condemn the Chevron refinery’s investments in occupied Palestine and role in fueling this genocide.
While Chevron and Israel are getting rich by extracting gas off the coast of Gaza, Palestinians have run out of fuel. They are forced to burn trash, endure harsh winter conditions, and have no way of cooking food. All 2.2 million Gazans are facing acute food insecurity, and over half a million are starving as a result. This is an urgent human rights and environmental justice crisis, and as we call for a permanent ceasefire, we are also holding Chevron accountable for fueling Israel’s apartheid regime.
We Demand
Chevron shutdown Tamar and Leviathan gas fields now!
Chevron to divest from Israel and stop its complicity in apartheid
Boycott and divest from Chevron until there is a permanent end to the occupation
BAY AREA: EMERGENCY ACTION TUESDAY: Last night, Israeli military’s genocidal assault targeted Rafah, the city that holds more than 1.4 million Palestinians, the majority of whom were displaced from elsewhere in Gaza. Over 70 martyrs and over 230 injured have already been reported in the US-funded Israeli strikes targeting homes, and mosques where many were sheltering. Israel is threatening a ground invasion in Rafah. We call on our community to take the streets to defend Rafah, Gaza, and all of Palestine. We assert that Rafah is a red line, and must mobilize to demand an end to this genocidal assault. HANDS OFF RAFAH NOW!
