Not alot of people were a part of Occupy Oakland at the very beginning, and some may be wondering why people call the plaza outside of city hall Oscar Grant Plaza, rather than the city $1000 loan online given name which is Frank Ogawa Plaza First, a quick background. Frank Ogawa was a victim of the US injustice system and spent many years in a Japanese internment camp during WWII, and was elected to Oakland city Council in 1966, and was the first Japanese American elected to hold a city … Continued

Even Anymous gets it
But, Occupy Oakland, you’re still living in a bubble. By supporting the tactics of the black bloc, encouraging them, feeding off the police provocation, you’re tactics are the black bloc tactics. Whether you claim to be non violent, whether you actually believe violence is only possible when the police respond, and so on http://loans-cash.net/faq.php . Time to wake up, you are alone, and been sleeping in feces for a long time. The people of Oakland, the 99%, have denounced Occupy Oakland, a movement they once would have embraced, but have … Continued
Violently non violent
Just my 2 cents here. People look at Occupy Oakland as a whole 1000 dollar loan today. Therefor, its not possible to claim an action is non violent, when there are people acting violently or provoking illegal actions that only have the goal of provoking a response. The same goes for shields and other weapons. When you march with shields, the group sends the message they are going to war. War is an act of violence. And here is the difference between OO and the sane world. 99% of the … Continued
Observing other movements – Case Study : ACT Up (1980’s)
I had a discussion this weekend with a friend who was heavily involved with the Radical Faeries and Act Up in the 1980’s. At the time in San Francisco, gay men were being diagnosed with a newly discovered disease (called AIDS), and dying by the thousands. The city had declared the crisis a national emergency, but on the national level, with Reagan as president, the issue was being pretty much ignored. The people of SF were pissed, and rally’s were being held constantly. Vigils, workshops, protests, you name it. While … Continued
This is the second time I have attempted to post this. I find it very sad that opinions that do not support violence are silenced. The last post was deleted by the sites censors. I do not know why, perhaps non-violence does not support their agenda of destroying the Occupy movement, and there is no room for free speech and open minds in Occupy Oakland. Moderators, prove me wrong, do not delete this post, and in fact, move it from the open mic to the calendar. This is for a … Continued
Working with the city and the people of Oakland
For the movement to survive, OO needs to be seen as a populist movement, and not an extremist group. I’ve seen so many good people, especially union leaders and activists, rush into OO with enthusiasm and excitement and hope that things can change for the better http://loans-cash.net/faq.php But then they see a group that is full of rage. Where the perceived goal is not to change wall street or current economic structures, but rather to provoke conflict with local authority and to bankrupt our already struggling city (punish for not … Continued
