Families Contingent to Support the Community Picket at the Port of Oakland
Story-time, kids dinner, then join the march to the port!

Schedule:
4-4.45pm – Dinner for kids, Story time, and Little Teach- In
@1415 10th St at Mandela Pkwy in West Oakland. This is the site of the Occupy Oakland/CJJC occupied home. If things have shifted at the house, we will meet across the street in the Mandela Parkway.
4:45-5pm – Head to West Oakland Bart and join marchers heading to port
5-6pm – March to Port. Official end of contingent @6pm. Some parents head back early to get cars and ferry families to BART or take families home. Circle up at this time and say bye-byes. Some families keep going.
Who:
All families of the 99% – and some grown-ups with no kids to help us out!
Why:
* To tell the greedy corporations who use our port to pay their fair share of taxes and stop poisoning our air
* To tell the bloated Port Commission to hand over the surplus and support Oakland Schools!
* In solidarity with the struggles of Longshoreman against EGT
* In solidarity with the Port Truckers against Goldman Sachs
