These are turbulent and important times. As we know from history, even the safest and most legal participation in social movements can lead to arrest. This document has been created to help you begin thinking about what you will need in case of arrest, and to let your loved ones know how you would like to be supported. There are many other ways you may need support that you can add to this, for example, advocacy around trans health, immigration status, communication with your job, etc…. This is just a starting point. Be sure to make copies that you give to those you would like to support you, and keep one on you at all times. Be sure to talk to your family, friends, medical providers, childcare community, animal friends, queer allies, immigration advocates, etc… ahead of time so that you have your plans worked out!
Be safe and take care of each other! Erica. (CUT AND PASTE THE TEXT BELOW TO A SEPERATE DOCUMENT)

Interesting how the main themes of this include,
– current psychiatric treatment
– medication
– responsibility for neglecting children/etc
– avoiding the shame of publicity
It almost seems like anyone having one or more of these issues should not be placing themselves in a position where being taken into custody is a distinct possibility. Did anyone else get that impression?
