POSTPONED: Oakland City Council: Renters Protections
The Renter Protection Ordinance Ballot Initiative is now scheduled for the July 19th City Council Meeting. The Committee to Protect Oakland Renters urges the Community and Economic Development Committee to reject the Council Member Kalb’s Ordinance Amending Chapter 8.22, Article I (Rent Adjustment). Renters in Oakland are being squeezed now, and they cannot wait years for renter protections to be implemented.
