Thanks to everyone who joined the Coalition for Police Accountability’s campaign which resulted in a victory of 83% at the polls on November 8th. But our work is not done. Now that we are poised to establish a meaningful, effective mechanism of civilian oversight of the Oakland Police Department, we need to stay engaged in the process.
