Clean Ports Workshop for Youth

the Rose Foundation is partnering with Nurture Nature for an exciting youth workshop on Saturday, May 16  for 30 to 35 local youth at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park in the Port of Oakland!

• When: Saturday, May 16 from 10:00am – 1:00pm (Arrive at 9:30 at West Oakland BART if using transportation support)
• Where: Portview Park (4001 7th St, Oakland, CA 94607) with pickups/drop-offs at West Oakland BART
• Who: Youth & young adults (ages 13–21)
• Thank-you stipend: $25 for eligible participants

This workshop will offer students hands on experience with local ecosystems and environmental stewardship. We believe that environmental crises are symptoms of deeper systemic inequities, and that equitable change begins at the grassroots. By supporting programs that get youth out to the shoreline, we are investing in the next generation of environmental justice leaders.
