Bay Area Regional Jail Fight Meeting – Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco Local sheriffs are currently attempting to expand and renovate jails in Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Francisco counties. These expansions are all coming out of similar statewide offensives to build more cages on a local level following orders to reduce state prison populations.
