Occupy Oakland and Labor March and Rally in Unity–Occupiers Liberate Vacant Lot at 19th and Telegraph

Occupy Oakland regained its momentum today in multiple actions with visible union support and peaceful, joyous and angry protestors taking to the streets again. As of 6 pm they were celebrating in a liberated vacant lot at 19th and Telegraph to the sounds of hip hop, drumming, dance music and marching bands. General Assembly reconvenes in plaza with 2000 marchers

After a pre-dawn eviction operation involving hundreds of police from many jurisdictions Occupy Oakland regrouped this afternoon on the steps of the Oakland Main Library at 4 pm.  The occupiers began marching shortly before 5 pm with about 1000 marchers.
